Thank you @high5_sa for sending us these to try!
I have used some of their products in my last two half marathons and they have made a difference (The Energy gel caffeine).
They’re available at some dischems and cycling stores around Cape Town! Ps. They’re also halaal certified now (Except the banana flavor).
Have you tried it? What are your thoughts?
“@ZiyaadSolo Running Vlog” follows the journeys of young film maker and runner Ziyaad Solomon.
An easy Thursday 5km run in our area as my dad prepares for his first marathon and as i prepare for my first trail race. I also meet up with Razaan and get her opinion on Cape Town Marathon and her general running tips.
A few Sundays ago I ventured out to Simons Town to support my dad and take some photos at the John Korassie 30km race, I figured there wouldn’t be many or any people taking photos on the route.
When I woke up It was storming outside as the weather predictions had said early showers and strong winds so I decided to wear these Sensor GT hitech hiking shoes instead of my usual running shoes. This was probably the best decision I could of made they are super comfy, durable and kept my feet perfectly dry as I braved the storm. I think everyone hates getting “cold feet” but being stuck in wet socks is pretty much the worst thing when you’re so far from home.
I know these are hiking shoes but when I do filming or photography I usually end up in crazy urban or outdoor locations and knowing Cape Towns weather is always unpredictable and sometimes unforgiving these are a great addition to my filmmaking gear.
✿ Welcome to Paradise City ✿
Spring is in the air… Wet weather is on its way out as sunshine slowly takes its place. As the winter blues draw to an end, we at Paradise City are doing our part to celebrate springtime with another city soirée, but wait, there’s more… The 9th of September is our 10th edition. Can you believe it? It seems just like yesterday that all these shenanigans began. So citizens, let’s do what we’ve doing since the beginning of this madnes: PARTY!
Being our 10th edition, we have pulled out all the stops when it comes to this month’s headline act. Two juggernauts of the techno scene… The one, a promoter behind the Hello Techno series, and the other, a talented producer under aliases such as LOBEL… This month we bring you a never before seen 3 hour masterclass of B_Type vs Danalog! This is going to be something truly special. As per usual, supporting these two will be the usual residents and party instigators: BRONSON, Tomas Kranenburg and Devoir.
♫ B_Type vs danalog (3 hour set)
♫ Tomas Kranenburg
As usual, supporting Paradise City’s sound will be an immersive visual experience, one which can only be seen to be believed. Not just another night at Fiction, but rather a journey into the frivolous, nonsensical place that is Paradise City.
