A few Sundays ago I ventured out to Simons Town to support my dad and take some photos at the John Korassie 30km race, I figured there wouldn’t be many or any people taking photos on the route.
When I woke up It was storming outside as the weather predictions had said early showers and strong winds so I decided to wear these Sensor GT hitech hiking shoes instead of my usual running shoes. This was probably the best decision I could of made they are super comfy, durable and kept my feet perfectly dry as I braved the storm. I think everyone hates getting “cold feet” but being stuck in wet socks is pretty much the worst thing when you’re so far from home.
I know these are hiking shoes but when I do filming or photography I usually end up in crazy urban or outdoor locations and knowing Cape Towns weather is always unpredictable and sometimes unforgiving these are a great addition to my filmmaking gear.
